All Saints - Take The Key
One of my favorite tracks from them. I remember I used to have a cassette of their first album, and my dad also bought a cd of their videos and the BTS. =))
Oh the harmonies. <3 <3 <3
Citizen Cope - Sideways
Currently enjoying his “The Clarence Greenwood Recordings” album. This track became an immediate favorite. A really cool beat and piano intro played on the E01S01 of “Criminal Minds” and I knew that I had to search for this guy (btw, the song was ‘Penitentiary’). Then I listened to a couple of his tracks in YT. Needless to say, I was immediately hooked.
Soul. Hip Hop. Folk. Alt Rock.
Apparently, ‘Sideways’ was one of the OSTs of The Fountain, but I can’t quite recall which part this was played in.
One of my most favorite team ups everrrrr.

Reblogged from northlucasUp Dharma Down - Turn It Well
First cut off the album ”Capacities.” When they played this last night in Westgate, I was totally captured because the song is dancy! :D
The new album sounds dancier than their previous ones. Armi’s voice seems to be mellower and there’s less of the vocal acrobatics that she usually does, but that doesn’t take away the awesomeness of the album. They’ve gone more ‘pop’ with the album though, as opposed to their usual jazz- electro sound.
Oh gosh, I remember that just about 3 years ago my summer go-to music was their previous albums. Now this! :D
Keane - A Bad Dream
Why do I have to fly
Over every town up and down the line?
I’ll die in the clouds above
And you that I defend, I do not love
I wake up, it’s a bad dream
No one on my side
I was fighting
But I just feel too tired
To be fighting
Guess I’m not the fighting kind
Where will I meet my fate?
Baby I’m a man, I was born to hate
And when will I meet my end?
In a better time you could be my friend
I wake up, it’s a bad dream
No one on my side
I was fighting
But I just feel too tired
To be fighting
Guess I’m not the fighting kind
Wouldn’t mind it
If you were by my side
But you’re long gone
Yeah you’re long gone now
Where do we go?
I don’t even know
My strange old face
And I’m thinking about those days
And I’m thinking about those days
Guilty Pleasure : Justin Timberlake
-
Currently listening to Suit and Tie. Just listened to Mirrors earlier. He's my R&B guilty pleasure. Loved him since Justified. <3 I'm really hopeful that the new album will sound like the old JT, because the two cuts seem to sound like it.
Emily and The Woods - Steal His Heart
A super adorable song with an equally adorable video. It’s very pleasing to listen to, and the video is just sooooo nakakakilig. =”>
I can’t steal his heart, but I can steal back mine.
Bamboo - In This Life
Because everything this man does is pure beauty. He’s like my local Ed Sheeran. I can listen to him for hours without end and still not get sick of him.
Oh, and because he does jazz. I luuuurve jazz.
Shanice and Jon Secada - If I Never Knew You
A lesser known OST of Pocahontas (yep, the animated Disney film!). It’s so perfect for the end of the movie. It’s really sad that John Smith had to leave America during the end of the film though. =(
Ed Sheeran - Autumn Leaves
Because this song just made me cry tonight. The lyrics, Ed’s beautiful voice, and the birds singing in the background is all too perfect.
Close your eyes before the sleep
And you’re miles away
And yesterday you were here with me
I miss you daddy.
